error 550 problem

Our office just moved and are 2 postfix servers now have new public IPs. Now whenever email is sent to a mail.ru address we get the following error:

postfix said: 550 non-local sender verification failed (in reply to end of DATA command)

Based on everything I can find, the issue seems to be due to DNS issues. I have changed DNS settings as necessary (so I thought), but still the error.

Anybody got some suggestions?

I had similar log records from mail.ru, intermittently, right after I moved my DNS on April 3, from Cloudflare to DigitalOcean. They stopped after April 12, so I’m guessing it was some DNS caching on the side of mail.ru. 🤔
