I have just setup postfix with a very basic setup.
I created 4 accounts (Steven, Carrie, root, gariel) they all work no problems
I then went to add more accounts doing exactly the same thing connor for exsample but when i make any new accounts and then try and go to there directory i get an error "Failed to open /var/mail/thewebtown : No such file or directory"
which is correct they dont have a file in that dir like the other users do.

I made sure the old users and new users have the same group (Mail) still no luck

Any ideas what i might be doing wrong?

Did you reload postfix after making your changes?

Not positive, but I think I remember reading in documentation that
postfix will make the directories upon the first email. Might want to
check on that.

Or just send an email to them and see if the directories are created.
