postfix relaying with sasl ... client can't relay from outside the local network

So I thought I should be good to go SASL seems to be working fine for relaying from clients within the lan What do I need to add to my config?

Do you have a transport map ?

Can you provide some logs to see what happens ? You can use smtpd -v in master.cf to enable debuging.
